Vlad Zorin is a photographer, born in Chelyabinsk, Russia. A refugee in France, he currently lives and works in Paris. Photographing since the age of 13, Vlad formed his artistic language by analyzing male sensuality in totalitarian Russia, which led him to create bold, uncompromising projects based on the theme of personal freedom. Exploring and revealing different generations, the photographer works with media such as photography, video, and interviews. A characteristic element of Vlad’s works is a white mask, which is a symbolic protection and an object of theatricalization for the heroes of his projects. His unique perspective on contemporary male sensuality, early self-definition, and rapid professional growth have made him an important voice of his time.
